They'rrrrrrrrre Baaaack !

The City is Back! I'm so excited. Though the city is full of drama, tears, and laughs more than anything...It's Full of Fashion! From inside information in the fashion industry that most of the cast works in-to the clothes they wear day to day. The City is a great place to get fashion inspiration and with Whitney Port being the leader of this back nothing can go wrong....or can it?

Coco Chanel

An Idol we all know in love!
The film Coco Before Chanel is coming to a theater nearest you, but is currently playing only in New York and LA. Judging by the trailer this movie may be rated R, but Coco is defiantly worth it, she has placed a mark in the fashion industry that will never fade. I'll be sure to keep you updated on
"Coco before Chanel."

My Idol

Chanel Iman is my all time idol. She truly embodies the characteristics of a supermodel while also being a role model. 18 year old Atlanta Native Chanel Iman was one of the youngest people to appear on the cover of Vogue. She's also made several appearences in Teen Vogue not to mention the several times she's been seen rocking the runway from Dolce and Gabanna to Vera Wang, Chanel has definitely put her mark in the industry. Chanel says she is also interested in design, "I want to do different things in my life, not just modeling. I would love to design for a big fashion house, like Pharrell did for Louis Vuitton. Stop giving all the opportunities to celebrities! I'm in the fashion industry, I have some great ideas, and I'd like to share them." Chanel has caught the eye of many influentials in the industry one being Tyra Banks who on her show gave Chanel a matching necklace stating that she was a piece to the puzzle opening up the modeling industry for more African-Americans. Chanel is one to know and love, she carries her fashion sense right from the runway into the street. I believe Chanels here to stay!

The Hippie Movement

Peace Love && Fashion is what comes to mind when i think of the movement of hippie fashion becoming the biggest trend of 2009. The definition of a hippie is one who opposes and rejects many of the conventional standards and customs of society, especially one who advocates extreme liberalism in sociopolitical attitudes and lifestyles, and this is what this fashion trend does! The Hippie trend is laid back and very comfortable. With over sized T's, braided hair pieces, and moccasins. This is defiantly a style that embodies true fashion with a great deal of comfortably.

The Jean Dress

The Jean Dress is said to be the it fall fashion piece. Jean did go out of style for some time but now it's back and it's bad! Try the Jean Dress
out, form fitting jean dresses can be worked with a nice blazer, a leather jacket, and the right amount of accessories! With the different sizes be sure to find one befitting of your body type. Try funcky accessories to spice it up, the lighter colors go well with golds and earth tones, and the darker ones look fab with silver and bold colors. Try It Out.
